From kitchens to homeless shelters, Christmas Peoples Foundation works day and night to make sure that everyone has a warm meal and a roof over their head by the end of the day. Life may be hard, and the cards dealt to many may be a losing hand, but a little help can go a long way, and we are here to provide just that. If you share the same vision as us, then we assure you that your help and donations shall only be used for those in need, giving someone a little warmth in this cold world!
Street Outreach Program
The Christmas Peoples Foundation is a non-profit charitable organization that organizes drives and has shelters in several cities and counties of the state of Washington. From our warm food drives to shelters for the homeless, our aim is to help the homeless community anyway we can. Apart from overnight shelters and food drives, Christmas Peoples Foundation also has hygiene programs that promote cleanliness, giving out fresh clothes, a shower, and haircuts to give a better chance to proper hygiene. For the people struggling with addictions as a result of their homelessness, we also provide a recovery program where such individuals can stay with us for up to a year while they aim to overcome their addiction and get better.
The Immanuel Community Services Center
The Immanuel Community Services center aims to provide the homeless people of Seattle, Washington a helping hand to get them back on their feet. The Immanuel Community Services has a food bank that is operational around the clock, providing food to those who do not have enough with no questions asked. A hot meal is always waiting for those in need, and it is all thanks to your help. Your donations allow us to keep our doors open for those in need round the year. From food to hygiene products, recovery programs, to a community lunch every last Sunday of each month, we always strive to do better by those who desperately need it.
The Bunny Wilburn Center
Made specifically to cater the needs of women, The Bunny Wilburn Center is a project of the Christmas Peoples Foundation that supports and empowers homeless women to a better life. At the Bunny Wilburn Center, we provide night shelter assistance, prioritizing a women-only shelter, giving them a sense of comfort, knowing they shall be safe for the night. During their stay, food is always available for them with no restrictions, as not everyone is fortunate enough to have enough resources to support themselves. Apart from the overnight shelter, we also provide emergency services for those in need, while pointing them in the right direction for help if our intervention is not enough.
The Anchor Transitional Living Program
Making sure that everyone has a fair chance at life, and no one gets left behind, Christmas Peoples Foundation also provides support to homeless street outreach program young adults at The Anchor Transitional Living Program. Prioritizing an easy transition into adult life while helping them to get back on their feet, our focus is positive youth development (PYD) and trauma-informed care (TIC), making sure that their suffering days are over effectively. With workshops that allow them to learn new skills, we also train them to have a fighting chance once they go out into the real world. Apart from all that, we also have an extended residential shelter, giving young adults facilities like a place to live, free food, education, healthcare, and many other basic needs. We also have a special program for young moms, providing them the support they need for both them and their babies.
Operation Night Watch
Operation Night Watch is another source of pride for the Christmas Peoples Foundation and support for those struggling in these harsh times. For those who struggle making ends meet, a fresh hot meal is like a luxury they cannot afford. However, we think that this luxury should not be limited to a few and take this initiative to start our kitchen at 9:00 PM, providing piping-hot dinners for those who need one. Other than that, our overnight shelter services are a source of comfort and relaxation for anyone who needs a bed to sleep. Available for both men and women, our shelter provides security and comfort, allowing a moment of relief in such hard times.
Noel House Programs
Noel House Programs aims in improving the lives of homeless people in aspects not many are willing to do so. Here, we provide legal aid and advocacy, making sure that those who cannot afford it have a fighting chance in the world of law. From legal advice to constantly trying to make the world better for homeless people, the Noel House Programs works day and night, fighting for those who cannot fight for themselves. Apart from legal services, we also provide veteran support services, helping those who fought for us. From VA benefits to counseling and mental support, we make sure that they have a home back home.
